I know it's been a while, but I have been crazy busy! In my last post I spoke of clicking the refresh button on your outdoor areas. Well that's exactly what I've been doing here of late. With graduation parties and memorial day weekend happenings. (the true sign that summer has begun) I have been busy turning empty outdoor spaces into comfortable livable spaces. I thought it would be fun to see the results of a space I readied for outdoor living enjoyment. Unfortunately I am not a great or even good photographer so the pictures aren't the greatest but you'll get the idea . In this (what use to be empty ) space; purchasing furnishings, a rug, lamps, plantings and a few simple accessories, this once bare area was brought to life. (I wish I had taken a before, but there literally wasn't anything there).

This area also has a retractable screen which allows the homeowner to enjoy the space in the evening without worry of mosquitos but to have it completely open during the day. (Oops forgot to put those lumbar pillows on the chairs) |

Other extras like an outdoor sound system for music, floor lamps and candles create a relaxing mood while enjoying the outdoors |
The fireplace area was furnished with cuddle chairs and a ottoman. A tray atop the ottoman is a perfect place to perch that morning cup of coffee or afternoon tea.
The colors were chosen to bring the colors from the indoors out. The monogramed pillows add a personal touch. Thanks to
Ballard Designs for most of the goods.(Great place to shop when you want instant gratification ) I can't wait to show you what was done inside but I'm still awaiting a lamp ( which has been on order for like FOREVER). Hope you enjoyed the photos! What will or have you done for your outdoors lately? Enjoy it, summers over before you know it.
Remember to Live Life Beautifully!
